About Us

Our Story

Jefferson Jacob and Chris Taliercio, the co-founders of the Rebecca Care Foundation, built a strong friendship in high school that later transformed into a shared purpose. Jefferson’s passion to help children after losing his mother and Chris’s desire for meaningful impact inspired them to establish this foundation, starting with a project in Africa.

Mission: Our mission is to ensure every child, regardless of circumstances, has equitable access to quality education by providing essential school supplies. We begin in Africa and aim to make a global impact by bridging educational gaps.

Vision: We envision a world where education is not a privilege but a right. Our goal is to create inclusive learning environments and inspire future generations by addressing the root causes of educational inequity.

Educational Inequity in Underserved Communities

The Problem

Educational Inequity in Underserved Communities Millions of children in Africa lack access to basic school supplies, severely limiting their learning and academic progress. This perpetuates a cycle of poverty, with children unable to reach their full potential due to barriers in their educational journey.

  • Lack of essential school supplies (textbooks, notebooks, pencils).
  • Barriers to learning and academic success.
  • Limited future opportunities due to inadequate education.

Our Solution

School Supply Distribution Program
We distribute essential school supplies, creating an engaging learning environment and helping students succeed academically.
Scholarship Initiatives
We plan to launch scholarships for deserving students from low-income backgrounds, allowing them to pursue higher education and break the poverty cycle.
Digital Learning Centers
In the future, we will establish computer centers with internet access, enabling students to bridge the digital divide and access online educational resources.
